OET has adopted two parallel, complementary policies through the diversification of the services it provides and the search for ever greater expertise.

R&D is the path to growth and stability and to be effective calls for considerable dedication. OET’s R&D centre works closely with all our specialist branches. It is independent but works very closely with the fabrication service. 5% of turnover is re-invested in R&D.

The R&D centre has 3 roles to ensure the future of the company:

• Innovation and technology watch, so that OET can expand its range, integrate new technology and meet customer requirements as closely as possible.
• Standardisation and shared software applications, so that all new developments are compatible and therefore more affordable for customers. This also enables OET to supply products that are easier to upgrade, more reliable and better suited to the application.
• Support for our fabrication services and our customers to ensure that our R&D stays in touch with reality and benefits from feedback.
